To do this, you need to go to the SMS menu and send a message to number 900 indicating the amount you want to put on the balance. For example, if you want to top up your phone for 300 rubles, send an SMS with the number 300. Without additional words and symbols.
In response, you will receive a notification about debiting your account. The second SMS will be from your operator that the balance has been replenished. You will not need to confirm the payment, you will not need to enter the code. Therefore, it is very important to be careful when sending such a message. Look, do not make a mistake in writing. And then there is a possibility that you will replenish the balance with a completely different amount that you thought about.
Top up a friend or relative
If you have activated the "Mobile Bank" service, and you need to top up another MTS phone, payment via a bank card is also possible. Only in this case, the SMS to be sent to the bank will be longer.
So, the first step - as in the previous case - open SMS from the bank (from number 900) or simply create a new SMS for the bank. In the text of the message we write without signs and with any letter - Payment. Next, put a space and dial the phone number to which we want to put money. In any case, in response to an attempt to replenish someone else's account from your card, you will receive a message from the bank. It will contain a secret code - six digits. They should be sent in a reply message. No extra punctuation or spaces.
This is very convenient, as it eliminates the possibility of an erroneous transfer, in addition, you can double-check the recipient's number and amount. After sending the code, you will receive a message about debiting funds from the card.
If "Mobile Bank" is not connected to the card
In this case, the MTS website will come to the rescue. Payment via a bank card will take a little longer than via SMS, but this option is the only one if you do not have Mobile Bank connected to the card with which you are going to pay.
Go to the site mts.ru, on the right side of the screen we see the "Frequently required" section. In the list of links we find "Top up account" and select the item "Payment from a bank card of MTS number".
In the form that appears, enter the phone number (note that+7 already stands and the number must consist of 10 digits. In the second field, write the amount of replenishment, press the "Next" button.
All information for the fields "Card number", "Expiration date" and "First name", "Last name" can be found on the front side of the card. Carefully rewrite everything in the right frame. The CVV2/CVC2 code is the three digits on the back of your card. This is not a PIN that you enter at an ATM, this is a security code for online purchases and payments.
