Flagship smartphones have always attracted the attention of a large number of people. But due to their high cost, few can afford such a luxury. But even with the usual comparison of the sales profits of companies from such gadgets and from simple budget options, it becomes clear that the latter benefit significantly. The Sony M2 Xperia is just such a smartphone. It is inexpensive, can support two SIM cards, and at the same time, it looks little different from the flagship models. Let's look at how this device differs from others of its kind and, based on the reviews, we will draw certain conclusions.

Judging by the performance, the Sony M2 should have good reviews, given that this is a state employee. But let's look at everything in more detail.

Appearance and ergonomics

The smartphone comes in three different colors. These are white, black and purple. In appearance, it is completely similar to all gadgets from Sony.

Despite its solid size, the Sony M2 fits very well in the palm of your hand. You can even control it with just one hand. The button used to unlock is exactly where it should be - under the thumb.

The keys are well placed and have a good travel reserve. The build itself is very high quality. Nowhere does not backlash and does not creak. In general, the device gives the impression of solidity. The only drawback, judging by user reviews, is the slippery back panel. If the hand is wet, then there is a high probability that the smartphone will simply slip out.

Display

The Sony M2 smartphone received an average quality screen with a diagonal of 4.8 inches. The sensor used here is good and responds to the slightest touch with high accuracy.

The resolution guarantees a dot density of 230 units per inch. This is pretty good, considering that this model is a budget option. When viewed closely, the dots are noticeable, but they do not spoil the overall picture much.

Sony M2 Dual showed poor contrast ratios. So, if you apply it at medium brightness settings, then the picture is poorly recognized. Unfortunately, the low cost comes at a price.

The lack of an oleophobic coating is a little depressing, or it is, but of very poor quality. The prints remain and the screen becomes smudged very quickly.

OS and software

The smartphone is pre-installed OS Android version 4.3. But after connecting, it is immediately updated to 4.4.2. The shell has a corporate look and is very similar to all those used in the gadgets of this manufacturer.

The OS itself works well and quickly. The Sony M2 smartphone has all the important software, which is enough to start using it fully.

As for the filling, it is productive and copes with 3D graphics quite well. Of course, "heavy" games slow down, but this is normal for a smartphone of this class. Basic apps also work well on the Sony M2 Dual. Feedback on the software and performance from users is good.

Cameras

The main camera uses an 8-megapixel matrix. Additionally, it is equipped with autofocus and flash, which greatly pleased users. In short, we can say that the smartphone takes pictures of more than high quality, if you focus on the price category. Naturally, this is not a "super-digital", but you can take a normal photo with it.

Front cameraweak and has a matrix of 0.3 megapixels. It is designed for video communication, but you can also take pictures with it. Only pictures come out bad.

Work offline

Sony M2 Dual, which we are currently reviewing, has a 2300 mAh battery. Users note its weak "survivability". So, if the smartphone is actively used, then as a result it can work on battery power for less than 10 hours. This is very annoying, because battery life is one of the main indicators in modern mobile gadgets.

User reviews

So, we draw conclusions. Focusing on user reviews, you can highlight the main pros and cons of the smartphone. Positives include:

  • great build and great design;
  • pretty good performance;
  • good main camera;
  • support dual SIM;
  • low cost relative to performance.

Cons can be considered:

  • weak battery;
  • poor quality screen;
  • no oleophobic coating on display.

But all the same, all the shortcomings are easily compensated by the cost, and, as for a budget option, the Sony M2 smartphone has excellent reviews, while technical specifications and performance indicators deserve high marks.
