In 2017, the Strelka transport card project celebrated its second birthday. Feedback from urban transport users pointed to the advantages and disadvantages of this travel pass. Henceforth, the developers are going to improve their offspring. "Arrow" - a card, reviews about it will be discussed below.
Project implementation
This travel card has become widespread thanks to an agreement between the Government of the Moscow Region, the Universal Electronic Card organizations and the State Unitary Enterprise MO Mostransavto. I even had to create a special branch, the purpose of which was the unified Strelka transport card. Reviews showed that such a serious approach was worth the result. The same division, which eventually received the name "Unified Transport Card", was assigned the duties of an operator. The launch of the project began on the first of February 2015.
The operator's job is as follows:
- installation and maintenance of transport card readers;
- issuance of equity securities;
- sale of travel cards to direct customers;
- installation of equipment for reading transport cards in buses;
- calculation of statistics (information is analyzed regarding the number of use of travel cards, social cards, one-time tickets, cashless payments, QR code).
To date, the ETK division has provided all Mostransavto rolling stock with readers in order to use the Strelka transport card as efficiently as possible. The reviews say that this is not in vain, because people using it in various modes of transport travel several routes. This pass is accepted for payment not only in urban modes of transport, but also in private fixed-route taxis. In addition to buses, a subscription can be recorded on the card, giving the right to travel in electric trains in various directions.
The same year the project was launched, it was nominated for the Formula of Motion award. In the Best Passenger Transport Solution category, Strelka became a laureate. This competition is aimed at improving the quality of service in the field of transport services.
Project Objectives
In Moscow, there are many types of travel cards for all occasions. So why do we need a single transport card of the Moscow region "Strelka"? Passenger feedback defined the scope of the challenge:
- Establishment of a generalized transport network in the Moscow region.
- Collecting and analyzing data fromas a result of using the card (this statistic helps Mostransavto determine the effectiveness of passenger transportation market regulation methods).
- Switch to cashless fares (this increases the transparency of monetary transactions).
- Tracking tax collections to the budget.
- Automation of checkpoints and ticketing of passengers.
- Providing a variety of card top-up options.
- Introduce flexible discount system, help users save money.
- Possibility of merging and using this pass in other areas.
Appearance
Thanks to public transport users, the Strelka card near Moscow appeared. Passenger feedback also contributed to the choice of design. The design and name were chosen by all residents of the Moscow region. The site has several options to choose from. Vezdekhod and Skorokhod competed with the current name. However, the well-known Strelka became the leader.
Purchase locations
What distinguishes the Strelka travel card (passenger reviews prove this advantage) is the variety of ways to purchase it. These include:
- Kiosks located near bus stops selling all types of travel tickets (there are about six thousand such points of sale in total).
- Directly at the driver or conductor of the motor vehiclefunds.
- In Euroset and Svyaznoy mobile phone stores.
- At post offices.
In general, we can say that you can buy this card wherever there is an inscription "Here the Strelka card is for sale." You need to have an identity document and two hundred rubles with you. This amount includes a deposit of eighty rubles, and the rest of the money is deposited in a current account. After the expiration date, that is, after five years, the security deposit can be returned. But, given the inflation rate over this period, it will, of course, turn into a penny.
Tariff plans
How does Strelka (card) help to save money? Reviews say that such a loy alty program is beneficial for numerous trips. The tariff system has a time frame - this is one calendar month, during which the price will decrease with each subsequent trip. After the tenth use of the pass, the cost will decrease by two rubles, after the twentieth - by another two, and so on. The lowest cost can reach 27.22 rubles.
Not everyone considers the Strelka map project to be effective. Some people's reviews are quite negative. Many consider the loy alty program too low. But the developers also found an answer to this problem. Starting this year, the discount will be calculated from the cost of the trip not in a fixed number - two rubles, but as a percentage. First, the fare will be reduced by seven percent, the maximum discount can increase to thirty-five.
This is especially beneficial for passengers with long or multiple routes. That is the principlesystem is that the more time you have to spend in transport, the less you have to pay for it.
Under the old system, a discount for a trip over eighty-two and a half kilometers was ten rubles. Now the savings on such a long route reaches fifty-five monetary units.
There is an interesting point when using the Strelka pass (card). Reviews of many users indicate that it is very profitable to ride together with him. However, by law, a person must not give their transit card to another person.
It is worth remembering that the price of one passage increases depending on the number of zones crossed. For every two and a half kilometers, another four rubles are added. But in any case, it is cheaper than a single ticket bought from the driver.
Deposit methods
It is worth noting that the smallest amount of replenishment is ten rubles, the largest is five thousand for the Strelka travel card (card). Reviews are simply full of thanks for such a wide opportunity to replenish:
- Electronic resource of the card, where it is worth registering in order to deposit money into the account.
- Bank card.
- Mobile application - this innovation came after the active introduction of advanced mobile technologies.
- Mostransavto kiosk.
- Euroset or Svyaznoy chain stores.
- Electronic wallet (these are Yandex. Money and Webmoney services).
- Branch of "Sberbank"or Alfa Bank.
- Auchan and X5 Retail Group stores.
- Auto top up.
- Terminals of Moscow Credit Bank.
Student Pass
Many students are familiar with the Strelka card. Students' feedback on the travel card is positive, as the developers provide them with additional discounts. The loy alty program allows young people to save half the money spent on travel. In order to receive such preferential plastic, you need to apply to one of the Mostransavto cash desks. You need to have your passport, student ID and insurance number with you.
Terms of use
Using the card is very easy. To do this, just attach it to a special reader. The required amount will be automatically debited. In case of verification, the controller has a device confirming this action.
If the route passes through only one settlement, then you need to attach the card to the terminal only once. In the case of a longer trip, through several settlements, the pass must be passed through the validator both when boarding and when leaving the transport.
