Technologies are rapidly developing, and mobile gadgets are improving along with them. Cardinal changes in phones, both technically and visually, took place about five years ago. Therefore, models from six and seven years ago can already be called old.
Cell phones that made a splash in their time are slowly being forgotten. Nevertheless, it is worth talking about some devices and remembering why they were so loved and proud of buying the desired gadget.
We present to your attention a list of old models of cell phones, which included legendary devices, remembered for their revolutionary characteristics, as well as reliability and other performance qualities. You won’t find them on sale anymore, except on the secondary market in the rarities section.
Nokia 3310
The old Nokia 3310 cell phone is a real legend of its time. The gadget distinguished itself primarily for its reliability. Of the entire range of the brand, both past and present, this model is truly “indestructible”. The gadget came in a monoblock design with a liquid crystal display. Visualization, of course, was not the best, but still it was enough for calls and sending small SMS. It is also worth mentioning the games. In total, four applications were installed, but the Snake was most remembered by many.
The brand tried to resurrect the series and released an old cell phone (photo above) in a slightly modified guise and with a more advanced set of chipsets. For those who need affordable and reliable dialers, this is an ideal option. The updated model received a modern color screen and more responsive buttons with an interface.

Another old cell phone from the Siemens brand, remembered by many. The model is distinguished by a pronounced edge with a large radius. The device was released back in 2001 and immediately attracted users not only for its attractive cost, but also for its performance.

The old cell phone "Samsung" series C100 appeared in 2003. One of the main distinguishing features of this model is the color display. C100 became the first device in its segment with such a screen. In addition, the phone received a notebook for 500 subscribers and a decent number of regular applications: calendar, alarm clock, converters, galleries, games, etc.

Many were also pleased with the battery life of the gadget on such a display - about 4 days. The result may not be the most outstanding for old mobile technology, but looking at modern android smartphones, one can envy it.
Motorola MPx200
The old Motorola cell phone of the MPx200 series also has the honorary title of an indestructible model. And this despite the fact that the form factor of the device is a "clamshell". The device appeared at the end of 2002 and immediately won the respect of users.
The model received a color display and worked under the control of the Windows Mobile 2002 platform. So here we see the first rudiments of smartphones. The company provided its device with 32 MB of internal memory, where only a small part was available to the user - about 10 MB.
The phone did not have a camera, but there was a modest MP3 player. Previously, tracks occupied about 800 Kb, so you could store up to 12-15 favorite songs in the device. The autonomy of the gadget did not let us down either. 5 hours of continuous talk time and 80 hours of standby time is good.
For its time, the Motorola MPx200 was a prestigious device. The model especially appealed to the beautiful half of humanity. Moreover, the brand offered a wide selection of colors and scales. With ergonomics, the gadget is also in full order. It is very convenient to wear and use it, especially when compared with modern spade-shaped smartphones.
Sony Ericsson K500i
This largely high-quality mobile gadget is the product of a collaboration between a Japanese-Swedish brand. The model was primarily attracted by the presence of a 0.3 megapixel camera with a fourfold zoom. Moreover, it was possible not only to take a photo, but also to shoot a video. For its time, it was a real breakthrough.
The quality of the pictures, of course, left much to be desired, but still the very fact of the presence of such functionality attracted many consumers. And the 1.9-inch screen offered a good and more or less balanced color gamut. Pixels, of course, hit in the eyes, but on this phone you could play 3D games.
Despite the impressive characteristics of the screen at that time, the gadget had complete order with autonomy. You could talk continuously for up to 7 hours in a row or play games all day. Motorola RAZR V3
The flagship model of the brand was released in 2004 and was immediately dubbed the most beautiful phone. The clamshell received an attractive appearance with harmoniously contrasting colors and excellent ergonomic performance. It was nice to call and just hold it in my hands.
Slim case with a thickness of only 14 mm and metallic shades confirmed the chosen name - RAZR (razor - "razor"). The models were equipped with 0.3 megapixel cameras and supported Bluetooth and GPRS wireless protocols. The quality of the pictures was mediocre, but the faces in the photo were recognizable.
In terms of reliability, the model was slightly inferior to the competitors described above. But the reason for this was only a thin body. Everything else was done at the highest level: there were no backlashes, gaps or other shortcomings. The device could not be stored in the back pocket of trousers, and even more so jeans. The case itself was more or less flexible, but the screen could crack.

We should also mention the keyboard. If in previous generations of clamshells the keys went and played, then in the case of the RAZR everything is different.
