Logitech F710 was released back in 2010 and, in fact, is the older "brother" of the F310. Both gamepads are almost similar, but still 710 has some differences, for example, the presence of a vibration motor, wireless operation, colors, etc.
Both models have become very popular among not only novice gamers, but also ordinarygame lovers. Probably, this was the main reason for Logitech not to curtail production after almost 8 years from the moment of release, but, on the contrary, to continue it.
Package
The gamepad comes in a transparent plastic blister, which is not so easy to open. The first thing that catches your eye is the inscription on a green background "Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710" and, of course, the gamepad itself. There is no point in considering the packaging, so let's move on to the packaging.
In the package, in addition to the gamepad, there is a nanoreceiver, a USB extension cable for the receiver, instructions and other documents, a disk with drivers and additional software, and two Duracel finger batteries (surprisingly, the manufacturer immediately put them in the kit). On the right there are 4 buttons responsible for actions in games - A, B, X, Y. They are painted in different colors, like an Xbox gamepad. And, of course, do not forget about two sticks, which have a pleasant coating with a small pattern under natural leather. They are controlled very easily and freely, and their location is copied, apparently, from the classic Dualshock from Sony Playstation. In general, if you connect the gamepads from Sony and Microsoft, you will get the Logitech F710, because the controls and their location are borrowed from these two models.
And the last buttons left here are triggers. They are located on the back of the gamepad and fall exactly under the index fingers. There is also a small XInput/DirectInput switch between the triggers.

As for the reviews of the Logitech F710, there are a lot of them, which is not surprising, since the model has been produced since 2010. Users consider the sticks to be not very convenient as the main disadvantages, since the finger tends to come off them.
The second minus is that the rubberized coating will peel off after 4-5 years of use. And the last - some people have problems with drivers - they constantly crash. The problem manifests itself in Windows 8 and 10 users.
