It was for this purpose that the Super Caller ID service was developed by Megafon. By connecting it, you can see who is trying to hide the number. In addition, if you receive a call from a hidden number, information about this will be displayed. Thus, it is easy to determine whether the call was made from a hidden or non-secret number. What features does the Super Caller ID service imply, how can you activate and deactivate it if necessary?
Financial terms of use of the service
Consider the cost for the Moscow region. You can activate the "Super Caller ID" service completely free of charge (we are talking about both the initial connection and subsequent ones). The subscription fee is one and a half thousand rubles a month. Some subscribers are afraid of such a payment amount. However, it is worth clarifying that it is charged daily, in proportion to the days in the month. The daily payment is about 50 rubles. This is a great merit, asthe service may be required for only a few days, which means that such a pleasure will cost 150 rubles.
Other conditions that the subscriber needs to know about
The action of the service is not limited to the home region, traveling to other cities of the country, you can also determine hidden numbers.
In international roaming, the operator does not guarantee that the Super-qualifier will work correctly.
Activation of the option is not possible on every mobile device (as a rule, this option is not available for some outdated phone models).
If you made a call from a hidden number, it will be displayed on the display, enclosed in the symbols "pound" (for example, 792X XXX XX XX).
If you often communicate with a subscriber who hides his number, you can enter it in the address book of a mobile device in the format in which it is determined at the time of the call (with the symbols "hash"); after that, every time you call from his number, you will see that he is the one making the call.
It is possible to correctly determine the caller's number only if he is a Megafon subscriber, otherwise an incorrect identification is possible.
Connection options
You can activate "Super Caller ID" ("Megaphone") using one of the three options below:
- subscriber's personal account located on the portal of the telecom operator (in the list of options available for activation, select the service of interest and click the "Connect" button, having previously read the conditionsservices);
- sending a text message without text to number 5502 - a response notification will be received about successful activation;
- request 502, as in the previous case, a text message will be sent about successful connection.
How to disable "Super Caller ID"
If you no longer need this service and would like to disable it, then you can use one of the options that repeat the methods of connecting the service:
- on the website, after authorization in your personal account, you should go to the list of services and options activated on the number. Having selected "Super Caller ID", click the "Disable" button; after that the service will disappear from the list of connected on the number;
- sending a text message with the word OFF or "OFF" to number 5502; as in the case of connection, upon deactivation, a response text message will be received indicating that the service has been successfully disconnected;
- request entry 5024, after typing the command, you should wait for a message confirming the operation.
The service "Super Caller ID" is a fairly popular option. After all, each subscriber wants to be aware of who exactly is calling him, in order to satisfy his own interest and be able to make a call back.
