Apple brand lovers are actively waiting for the next new iPhone. But before we see what Apple has in store for its fans this year, it's interesting to take a look at all of the iPhones, from the very first device back in 2007.
And how many of these iconic phones and innovative new features do you know?
IPHONE (2007)
Not many will remember when the first iPhone appeared. This happened way back in 2007. It's hard to overestimate the impact that the iPhone has had on the smartphone market: by ditching the keyboard in favor of a touch screen and adding cutting-edge computing capabilities that weren't there before, the manufacturer has set the standard for this modern device. “Apple is going to reinvent the phone,” Steve Jobs said at the time, and he was right. iPhone 3G (2008)

This started Apple's tradition of adding an "S" to the end of the model name when there is a minor iPhone update. iPhone 4 (2010)
If the iPhone 3GS was a small step forward, then the iPhone 4 was a huge breakthrough - it has a new, more aesthetic and modern look. In terms of technical specifications, the manufacturer has significantly increased the number of pixels, while maintaining the same 3.5-inch display (the first Retina). The model became the first iPhone with a front camera, as well as multiple levels of multitasking. Of all the iPhones, the 4 is one of the most significant in their history.
iPhone 4S (2011)
Apple is back with a minor "S" update for the 2011 iPhone 4S. At this point, don't talk too much about the new specs and features. The camera has been upgraded to 8 megapixels. Perhaps the biggest improvement in software(iOS 5.0) was the emergence of Siri, a digital assistant that plays a very important role for all iPhones today.
IPHONE 5 (2012)
Compared to earlier models, the iPhone 5 has received major upgrades. It added an extra row of icons with a very high screen resolution, as well as a Lightning connector. iPhone 6, released by Apple in 2014, is still on sale and has a reputation for being a good phone. Along with another design update, the manufacturer increased the display size to 4.7 inches and added more pixels. It's worth noting the introduction of NFC for Apple Pay and other services, as well as a major camera upgrade that delivers better photo and video results than ever before. Around the same time, an instruction appeared explaining how to find out the country of origin of the iPhone by the unique code present on the device. At the same time, Apple warns that the original devices are assembled exclusively in China.
iPhone 6 PLUS (2014)
For a long time, Apple resisted the temptation to follow the big-screen smartphone industry, but still succumbed to market pressure, especially with the iPhone 6 Plus. Measuring 5.5 inches from corner to corner, it's the largest iPhone ever to approach the size of an iPad mini. The phone has certainly come a long way since 2007.
IPHONE 6S (2015)
Apple's iPhone 6S came as no surprise to many. Every odd year brought the "S" variant of the previous season's phone, with a few updates but the same design.
The iPhone 6S is virtually identical to the 2014 6 in the sense that you could barely tell the difference between them visually. The difference lies in the slight extra thickness and weight. From hardware updates, the Force Touch option has been added, thanks to which a new way to control the phone has appeared, andoriginal photo viewer (Live Photos).
iPhone SE (2016)
This device was a bit of a surprise. Users were expecting a smaller, lower-priced iPhone, but they didn't expect it to look like the iPhone 5, only with completely modern internals. Compared to other flagships, it represented true value for money, but it couldn't quite compete with the sheer number of Android alternatives.
IPHONE 7 and 7+ (2016)
Many expected the iPhone 7 to be one of the best phones of the year, and its strong rivalry with rival Galaxy S7 was taken negatively. At the same time, some users called the model the best of all iPhones. A distinctive feature of the phone was the lack of a headphone slot. Critics said such a radical change takes some getting used to.
On the positive spectrum, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus included additional color options (Matte and Jet Black), water and dust resistance, and an Apple A10 quad-core chip for maximum processing power.
iPhone 8 and 8 Plus (2017)
These devices feature wireless charging, as well as a faster processor, improved camera and display. According to reviews, there was a small percentage of iPhone 8 users experiencing problems such as freezing screens and lack of response to pressing. Although they weren't featured on 8 Plus.
iPhone X (2017)
As part of a new generation of phones, Apple has gone to great lengths to improve the iPhone X. With OLED technology, color and display technology, the company has taken the device to the next level. According to reviews, these are the highest quality displays to date.

iPhone XS and XS Max are improved and upgraded versions of the X model. Apple's A12 Bionic processor is in the spotlight. It is the first 7nm chip available on the market to boast six cores.
