Attempts to find a balance between price and functionality of the phone are not always successful for the manufacturer. A similar fiasco was the V790 model from ZTE. Although the device was released in 2013, its characteristics are very depressing.
Design
The appearance of the ZTE V790 is not particularly remarkable and resembles many devices of that time. The design of the front part and the rounded contours of the device give the smartphone a great resemblance to HTC. Despite the battered appearance, the phone came out quite nice.
The device is made of plastic, which does not add much solidity. The quality of the material leaves much to be desired, in some places the body flexes and creaks. An unpleasant detail for the owner will also be scratches that appear incredibly quickly on the device.
The back side is made of corrugated plastic, which hardly collects prints. But the front part is not able to boast of special advantages. The display of the ZTE V790 is protected only by plastic, which is highly susceptible to scratches. The oleophobic coating also leaves much to be desired, and fingerprints on the case are very noticeable.
The front end has become"shelter" for a small screen, four touch buttons, speaker and sensors. The left end got a volume control, and the right one remained empty. Hardware
The manufacturer paid much more attention to the filling of the ZTE V790. Characteristics are rather weak, but quite acceptable for state employees. The device has got a SnapDragon processor, which is very good. Unfortunately, the deviceonly one core with a performance frequency of 1 GHz. Not the worst accelerator Adreno-200 is responsible for the graphics.
It looks quite good and 512 megabytes of RAM. Although this is the minimum indicator for an Android device. The situation with native memory is much worse. Smartphone ZTE V790 is equipped with only one gigabyte. This characteristic is not enough even for everyday tasks.

You can't call the device fast, although the performance is quite enough to work with many programs. For example, the rather demanding Skype works without much slowdown. However, the situation with games is completely different. The phone handles simple casual apps, but more advanced ones don't work well.
Autonomy
The manufacturer installed the wrong battery for ZTE V790. The owner will get a device equipped with a 1200 maH battery capacity. Such a battery is not able to provide good autonomy.
Minimal use of the device will allow it to last a day without additional charging. More active work of the device will shorten its life to four hours. The maximum load will allow the owner to work with the device for only two hours.
The most "gluttonous" features are Wi-Fi and GPS connections. It is theyconsume most of the charge. By controlling these functions, you can significantly increase battery life.
