If you use any of the modern tablets (for example, running on the Android OS), then sooner or later you will encounter the fact that your touch screen will degrade in sensitivity.
This can happen for various reasons: the settings can get lost as a result of prolonged use of the device or after using specific or low-quality programs. Android screen calibration will solve this problem.
Why is this procedure needed and what does it give?
The initial calibration of any touch device is done immediately after production, even before the release of the tablet for sale. But over time, due to numerous touches of different strength, these settings may go astray, the sensitivity of the phone will drop.
Calibrating the Android screen will help return the sensor to normal sensitivity, as well as adjust the phone to the features of your pressing. In addition, you can change the desired touch sensitivity: for example, if you are more comfortable using light touches, then “tell” your tablet about it.
How to calibrateAndroid screen?
This process does not require any special knowledge or additional skills in handling the tablet, because the Android operating system has a built-in calibration utility.
To launch it, open the main menu of the system, then select "Settings". In the horizontal menu that opens, scroll to the "Display" line, tap it, and then launch the "Horizontal Calibration" application.
Now put the phone on a flat surface and do not touch it until the system notifies you that the process has completed successfully.
In the same menu there is an item "Calibration of the gyroscope". This function is useful if the device reacts incorrectly to a change in its position: for example, when turned on its side, it does not switch to horizontal or, conversely, vertical mode.
But these functions, although called calibration, do not affect the sensitivity of the touch screen. To change these settings, you will need to install third-party applications that perform calibration. But be careful! In case of incorrect settings or due to errors in their program code, you can come to the fact that the phone will stop responding to touches altogether!
If this does happen, don't panic. Android screen calibration can be done in another emergency way. To do this, you need to simultaneously hold down three buttons: volume up, power on and "Home". If you do everything right, then the service will start.a program that will be used to roll back the settings to the factory settings.
Is it possible to calibrate the iPhone screen?
Although Apple tablets and phones are equally prone to sensor problems, unlike Android, they do not provide for manual touchscreen calibration. It is produced only during the assembly of the device, and, unfortunately, it is corrected only by purchasing a new screen, which, by the way, is very expensive. Therefore, try to take care of your favorite device, especially its screen.
