So, the main purpose of the screen, as already mentioned, when using a password to access the system is to prohibit login under a particular account. Roughly speaking, this is a certain function related to the security of the system and the protection of user data.
On the other hand, many have probably noticed that at the moment when the screen is locked, some additional elements are displayed on the display. The default is the time and date. In general, it is very convenient, but for more comfort, the user can simply change the splash screen (background), add some additional elements in the form of standard applications, or enable notifications that will be displayed without directly logging in under their registration.

First, consider changing the background. In some ways, this is similar to the standard setting for the displayed image on the "Desktop", but this action is performed a little differently.
The screen lock in the first step is configured from the personalization menu, which can be accessed through the settings section called from the main Start menu. In the left part of the window, the corresponding line is selected, after which its type is selected in the background drop-down list. Let's take "Photo" as an example. To select a picture, use the browse button located below, after which the required file is indicated, which will bedisplayed on the screen.

Save the changes and reboot the system. After that, the screen lock will be completely disabled.
In the second case, you will have to act through the system registry (regedit in the Run console). In the HKLM branch, through the SOFTWARE section, we find the Personalization directory, on the right side of the editor, through the RMB menu, create a new DWORD parameter (32 bits), give it the name NoLockScreen, double-click to enter the editing window and set the parameter to 1. As in the previous case, a system restart is required.

However, installing such programs will cause them to constantly “hang” in memory with icons from the system tray. So why clog up your computer if everything can be done using the operating system toolkit?
