Undoubtedly, budget devices are one of the strengths of Lenovo. The company knows how to make a phone not only cheap, but also productive. It is these qualities that can be found in the A606.
Design
The appearance of "Lenovo A606" is quite ordinary and is lost among brothers. The manufacturer does not pay special attention to the design of state employees, but in general this does not upset. The focus of the company is on performance, and appearance fades into the background.
The smartphone is made of plastic, and of fairly good quality. Despite the cheap material, the device has an oleophobic coating. The owner does not have to worry about fingerprints and dirt on his gadget.
External details have taken their usual places. In front of the device there is a display, a speaker, sensors, a logo, touch buttons, a front camera and, of course, a logo. The lower end sheltered only a microphone, and the upper one - socket 3, 5 and a USB connector. The back side has acquired a company logo, a main camera, a speaker and a flash.
Actually, no changes happened, which is even for the better. Every detail takes the most optimalplace. The volume and power buttons are a little confusing, located very close, but this does not affect the operation.
Besides the mediocre appearance, the variety of colors is also underwhelming. Only black and white versions of the device are available to the user. More colors would have greatly diluted the dullness of the design.
Screen
The large display "Lenovo A606" is implemented rather poorly. Despite as much as five inches of diagonal, the impressions are not the best. The reason for this was the low resolution, namely 854 by 480, which is not enough for this size. Pixels appear on the screen, in fact, this is not surprising at 196 ppi.
Sharp corners are slightly smoothed by the IPS-matrix. The technology, in addition to improving the quality, added the viewing angle to the device. Now the picture is not distorted, and the behavior in the sun is much better.
Another unpleasant moment will be the operation of the sensor with just two touches. Given that the vast majority of state employees support as many as 5 outlets at the same time, this option looks disappointing.
Hardware
Equipped the phone "Lenovo A606" with a powerful "stuffing". The installed MTK processor not only ensured the performance of the device, but also significantly reduced the cost. The smartphone has as many as four cores with a frequency of 1.3 GHz each. Among competitors, the phone definitely stands out for its power.
Saving on the processor allowed to increase the amount of RAM. The device has acquired a whole gigabytememory.
The device was equipped with the usual Mali-400 MP video accelerator. It is enough for all the needs of a smartphone.
Worst of all is the built-in memory. The smartphone has only 8 GB, and only 4.7 GB will be available to the user. A significant part of the memory is occupied by "Android" and the applications built into it. Brightens up the situation only the ability to install a flash card up to 32 GB.
Camera
Supplied "Lenovo A606" favorite eight megapixels. Almost the entire A series has similar cameras and, accordingly, image quality. The resolution of 3264 by 2448 pixels is not bad for an inexpensive smartphone, but the photos come out mediocre. The device has fine settings and autofocus. Unfortunately, you should not expect much from the pictures of "Lenovo A606".
The smartphone is also capable of shooting video, and in HD. The resulting video has a resolution of 1280x720. Few state employees can boast of such a feature.
The device has got two megapixel front cameras. Naturally, this is not enough for a full-fledged self-portrait, but a lot for video communication. The manufacturer could well set the usual eye 0, 3 and improve another parameter.
System
The gadget works on Android, not the latest version - 4.4. However, it is worth paying tribute: the system is frisky and functions properly. The interface works without delays and errors.
The manufacturer's shell is installed on top of the system. The already familiar Vibe UI comes withinstalled programs. Some will be useful, while others will hang dead weight. As in its predecessors, it is impossible to uninstall many applications without root rights.
If necessary, the new firmware "Lenovo A606" is available for installation via FOTA. Difficulties with a wireless installation should not arise. Another upgrade option would be to install custom firmware.
