Not so long ago, a new Chinese manufacturer appeared on the Russian market. We are talking about a little-known brand ARK. But can the company attract buyers and keep up with the competition?
Appearance of devices
When releasing ARK smartphones, the manufacturer took the path of least resistance and simply copied the design. This is especially noticeable in the cheapest device Benefit H956. The device looks very similar to Nokia.
Chinese firms have similar solutions everywhere. Unfortunately, many manufacturers simply thoughtlessly "lick off" other people's devices. Sometimes the design is not even changed.
In general, ARK don't think too much about their smartphones. The usual appearance, plastic case and lack of "chips" make the company's devices not very attractive in appearance.
Of course, there were some exceptions. There are stylish, solid and simply elegant devices. One of them was Desire I2, which received a pleasant appearance. But even this handsome man looks like a market leader.
Justifies the mediocre appearance only the cost of devices. Apparently, the manufacturer decided to attract not with design, but with an attractive price. The decision was fully justified, since appearance is not the main characteristic of state employees.

ARK smartphones faced a similar problem for many representatives of the Celestial Empire. The desire to keep costs as low as possible has had a significant impact on the company's displays.
First of all, the problem was the resolution in most devices. Installing a good diagonal, this characteristic, apparently, was completely forgotten. Almost all models received a resolution that does not match the diagonal of the screen.
For example, Benefit M6 with a display size of 5.5 inches received only 960 x 540 pixels. Thus, small cubes and graininess are very noticeable to the user. This is not to say that the situation is critical, but it is definitely unpleasant.
When choosing the company's devices, you should also pay attention to the matrix. Among a small number of models, devices with old TFT technology are hidden. Such a matrix significantly reduces the visibility of corners. In addition, the brightness of the screen drops significantly in the sun.
There are quite well implemented ARK smartphones. One of these was the S502 Plus, which has an IPS-matrix and an acceptable resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
Cameras
ARK smartphones got another problematic side. Like many state employees, the camera is weak here. Only two megapixels were installed in cheap devices. It is these matrices that were obtained by models M1, as well as K12.
Middle class phones got more decent "eyes". In the same I3 costs 13 megapixels. While hoping for a quality similarSamsung cameras are not worth it. The company still has room to grow.
Autonomy
Any review of the ARK smartphone will lead to the conclusion about its low battery life. Unfortunately, this is a problem not only for ARK, but for many other companies as well. However, this product is particularly problematic.
Inexpensive and low-power devices can still be forgiven for a 1500 mAh battery, but mid-range devices equipped with a 2400 mAh battery cause genuine bewilderment.
Even one of the most advanced devices I3 has become a shining example. It has a 2400 mAh battery, and the operating time is 3-5 hours, depending on the load.
Price
The cost of ARK products turned out to be a pleasant moment. The price ranges from 2 to 12 thousand rubles. Quite an acceptable cost for good state employees.
Reviews
Not the best impressions leave behind ARK smartphones. Owner reviews find many shortcomings not only in the devices themselves, but also in the firmware.
The main problem was the case. The plastic of the phones is not of high quality and is also very easily soiled.
Autonomy is also not to the liking of many users. Replacing the battery will correct the situation, but this is an additional cost.
