This is due to the abandonment of the monthly fee, the introduction of free calls within the network, and also thanks to various marketing tricks aimed primarily at convincing the user of the profitability of the tariff, its exclusive conditions.

Kyivstar, the leader of Ukrainian telecom services, is no exception. This is the second oldest operator, which currently provides communication services to more than 20 million subscribers (and this figure is constantly growing). By constantly updating its product line, improving the quality of communication, as well as reducing the cost of services, the company manages to constantly maintain leadership positions in such a busy market.
She succeeds also due to interesting tariff plans, which quickly attract subscribers with some of their features. For example, the tariff “Hello, quarter! My region”, which will be discussed in this article.
Kyivstar Tariffs
Today, the company has about 7 new tariffs in its basket of services,their number is constantly changing. In addition, older offers may be activated on the numbers of some subscribers - tariff plans that were in effect before, but were not canceled by the company.
Due to this diversity, it is possible to satisfy the needs of different groups of subscribers - both those users who are interested in reducing communication costs, and those who are focused on receiving large volume services and the absence of restrictions.
Tariff “Ale, quarter! My Region” (Kharkiv is one of the cities where it can be activated) is also archived, since it is no longer offered to new subscribers. However, it continues to function normally if the user switched to it earlier.
Priorities
Today, the tariff plan that was offered in the product network from Kyivstar, the operator of Dijus, is “Hello, quarter! My region”, would be irrelevant due to incorrectly prioritized. In particular, the plan excludes access to the mobile Internet for the reason that it provides for the use of a GPRS connection. Of course, this can be done now, but it is unlikely that anyone would come to mind to enter the network in this format.
Still here, of course, there is no way to work with a 3G connection - this network was recently launched in Ukraine. And all the operators immediately began to conduct large-scale advertising campaigns to lure people.
Tariff “Hello, quarter! My region"
What does this plan include? It is designed for the subscriber to make "home" calls within the network. This is indicated at least by the fact that the operator "Kyivstar" "Hello, quarter! My Region” does not charge minutes of calls to subscribers of its network, as well as “Didjus”. Under this scheme, the user is offered 200 minutes every day for calls on their network. There is no charge for the connection.
The tariff is really very favorable for long conversations with Kyivstar subscribers like you. Plus, it is important where the subscriber is calling (in the geographical aspect). If, for example, the user has chosen as the main region for using the services “Hello, quarter! My region” Kharkiv, then completely different tariffs will apply to calls to Odessa. Cost of services
You can find out how much the package costs on the tariff page. First of all, the absence of connection fees is noted here. It is further indicated that within the territory where the tariff was activated (meaning the area where the subscriber is located), the cost of minutes for Kyivstar calls is 25 kopecks. At the same time, there is a note below: for calls within the network with a subscriber from another region, you will have to pay 74 kopecks per minute.
As for calls to other networks, they are charged at 70 kopecks per minute. At the same time, conversations with other landline phones in Ukraine will cost 1.25 hryvnia. Other services, in particular, SMS messages, will cost 75 kopecks, andMMS - 1, 45 UAH / piece. Nothing is said about the subscription fee on a regular basis, there is information only about the need to pay UAH 2.35. per day, which go towards the use of GPRS Internet services. As far as we know, in relation to the tariff “Hello, quarter! My Region changes were not made, so all these prices were valid at the time the tariff was activated.

About what online access services are provided under this plan, I would like to write separately. As already noted, we are talking about GPRS access for 2.35 hryvnia per day. For this price, the subscriber receives 50 megabytes of traffic at a higher speed (which one, unfortunately, is not specified), after which it drops to 32 kbps. Thus, Kyivstar and Didjus have “Hello, quarter! My region assumes the presence of unlimited Internet in the old and slow data transfer format. We talked about this earlier - at least due to this, this plan cannot be called modern and relevant. Perhaps, earlier, subscribers switched to “Hello, quarter! My region. Today's plans have a lot more options, offering 3G connectivity.
What is the benefit?
However, it cannot be said that the plan in question was not in demand. At the time the service entered the market, it offered quite interesting conditions. In particular, a clear advantage was the absence of fees for calls within the network and for connection. Users whoThey often talk on the phone, which obviously appealed to them. Also, the tariff did not provide for a mandatory subscription fee, so you can use it for calls, in fact, for free - if only we are talking about conversations with subscribers from your region.
In a sense, for Kyivstar “Hello, quarter! My Region was a great marketing ploy to attract new people to your network. If you change the conditions regarding the Internet connection (in particular, to provide for 3G instead of GPRS), it would certainly be in high demand.
How to go?
Unfortunately, “Hello, block! My Region" - a tariff plan that has been moved to the "Archive" section on the Kyivstar website. This means that the tariff no longer registers new members. Yes, those who switched earlier can be served on this plan (as already noted), but you cannot switch to the tariff again. There are many other interesting plans in the operator's portfolio. Compared to "Hello, quarter! My region”, the changes operating in them are simply colossal.
Other great deals
The first thing that distinguishes them from the one that we have characterized throughout the article is the Internet. The company has a clear distribution for what purposes the package is used. Even tariff plans designed for calls can receive a small amount of traffic from the operator - 50 megabytes per day - for work with mail, social networks and news sites. As for a separate category of plans - "For the Internet", here you can find options,allowing you to watch movies online. "Hello, block! My region” is far from that, of course.
Some reduction in the cost of services can also be noted. For example, two tariffs "For calls" cost only 15 and 20 hryvnia per month. As part of these plans, the subscriber is provided with an unlimited number of minutes for talking on the network, as well as 50 Mb of Internet. The tariff "For calls to all networks" also provides the opportunity to get 60 minutes per month to communicate with numbers of other networks.
There are also tariffs "For a smartphone" and "For a smartphone+", which provide for a monthly fee of 25 and 40 hryvnias. The first offers a price of 60 kopecks per minute of conversation with other networks and 500 Mb of traffic. The second package gets 60 minutes to talk to other networks and 1500 megabytes to use the Internet. There is also a “For an extra smartphone” tariff, within which the subscriber is offered unlimited calls to the network, 200 minutes to other networks per month, 2.5 GB of traffic at a price of 120 hryvnia.
Kyivstar also has two premium tariffs of 500 and 800 hryvnia per month. They offer unlimited calls on the network, 1500 and 2500 minutes to other networks, as well as 5 and 7 GB of traffic, respectively. Compare them with “Hello, quarter! My region”, of course, it makes no sense, but it would be advisable to clarify that the choice of tariff plans here is quite large. You need to understand that the company does not stand still, so its package still has tariffs, among which you can choose based on your wishes and preferences.
