For subscribers who havenumbers, packages are activated that imply a certain amount of traffic within the billing period, as well as tariff plans with included megabytes, then the options for extending the speed will be an excellent way out for you when the speed is reduced due to exceeding the established traffic. In total, there are two options for such options, with which you can add one and five gigabytes. The cost of these services will depend on the region where the SIM card is registered and used. For example, in Samara it is 195 rubles and 260 rubles. You can activate additional Internet volume "MegaFon" only if you have a basic option/tariff that has an included amount of data.
Terms of connection and use of speed-extending options
- The package is activated if the required amount of money is available on the account. At the expense of the operator's funds (in case of connecting the promised payment), activation is not performed.
- If the speed extension package was connected before the traffic for the main package ended, then the remaining volume for the main option will be consumed first, and then the one that was connected in order to extend the speed.
- The additional amount of Internet "MegaFon", provided within the options under consideration, expires before the new period for the main package (for example, you have a package connected on October 1, in the middle of the month the traffic was exhausted and a package that increases speed was activated, 1 gigabyte; such a package will be valid until 31October or until it is completely used up). With the onset of a new period, the volume of traffic for the main option will be updated.
- You can connect multiple packages at the same time. The volume of traffic on them will be summed up.
- If in the period in which any of the packages was activated, prolonging the speed, the tariff was changed (for example, a TP was connected with megabytes included), then the option will continue.
How to activate the package "Extend speed" (1 GB)
To activate a package that extends the speed within one gigabyte, you need to dial a request like 37011 and wait for a notification about the successful activation of the option. A similar procedure can be performed in your personal account by pressing the desired button. It is also possible to receive traffic through a text message: for this, send an SMS to 05009061 with the number one in the text. There is no need to deactivate the package: as soon as all the megabytes included in it are spent, it will be automatically deactivated. If before the new billing period the subscriber did not have time to use the additional amount of Megafon Internet, then it will be destroyed. Thus, it does not make sense to connect a large package if there is not much time left before the start of a new billing period.

To activate a package that extends the speed within five gigabytes, you need to dial a request like 37021 and wait for a notification about the successful activation of the option. A similar procedure can beperform in your personal account by pressing the desired button. It is also possible to receive traffic through a text message: for this, send an SMS to 05009062 with the number one in the text.
Set up Internet "Megaphone" "for yourself", using the option to extend the speed.
